Legendary hockey star Wayne Gretzky has sold another of his Los Angeles homes. This time, the sharpshooter accepted $4.2 million for a house in Westlake Village Community.
This is the third sale of a Westlake Village home in two years by Gretzky and his wife Janet. The villa-style residence spans 5,600 square feet and boasts a modern Italian-inflected aesthetic. The four-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom home’s standout features include beautiful flooring throughout, and stark white walls to allow their texture to shine. The Thassos white marble-clad chef’s kitchen with contrasting dark wood floors gives the home an air of refined opulence.
The property exterior features a covered lounge space, an outdoor kitchen, terraced grounds, a lush lawn, and a swimming pool. Then, there’s golf proximity. It is located near the 16th fairway of the Jack Nicklaus signature golf course which, together with the fine mountain views, give the home its context.
Hall of Famer Gretzky and his wife paid $3.6 million for the property just a year ago. “The Great One” currently serves as a partner and vice chairman of the Oilers Entertainment Group.
