One could draw many a sheep with Montblanc‘s latest writing instruments.
Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s novella “Le Petit Prince” is a time-honored story and one of the most-translated books in history. In honor of the classic tome’s 75th anniversary, Montblanc has introduced the Meisterstück Le Petit Prince Collection. They’re the perfect desk additions to those familiar with the landscape of B-612.
The new collection of writing instruments comes from the mind of Creative Director Zaim Kamal. The latest entries to Montblanc’s Majestic Collection honor the magic of Saint-Exupéry’s story with three remarkable fountain pens.
Kamal reread “Le Petit Prince” to find inspiration for the design concept. The results are rendered in a magnificent deep blue symbolic of the universe and its mystery, which makes children of us all. The image of the bright and curious fox is another essential symbol of the book, and it appears throughout the collection as the fundamental pattern.
Montblanc’s team has done well in representing the classic novella, and paying homage to Saint-Exupéry’s memory.
