This month saw the first delivery of an Embraer 300E light business jet.
Embraer‘s new Phenom light jet was first introduced at last year’s National Business Aviation Association’s Conference and Exhibition. The 300E takes its more pronounced design cues from its predecessor, the Phenom 300, which has been the best-selling light business jet for several years running.
The first delivery of a 300E occured just five months after launch. The “E” in 300E stands for “Enhanced,” though, and a look around the completely reimagined cabin justifies the suffix all by itself. Another big change comes in the form of Lufthansa Technik’s advanced cabin management and in-flight entertainment system, and a big kudos for Embraer for going all-out with that system.
Buyers of a 300E may completely customize their interior for a unique look that will personalize, or define a company. Passengers will particularly enjoy the adjustable seats and the spacious cabin. Add extendable headrests and leg rests, and wider seat backs, and execs and clients might just forget they’re sitting on an airplane. The Phenom 300E’s upper technology panel also adds to the flying experience with in-flight entertainment controls and information.
Pricing begins a little south of $10 million.
