Five-time NHL All-Star Jeremy Roenick is still looking to find the right buyer for his Scottsdale, Arizona, property.
The retired player and his wife, Tracy, first put their desert mansion on the market for $11.7 million at the start of 2012. Since then, the expansive property has been on and off the market with lower and lower asks, and now the home is available for just $3.95 million.
The property has a great deal to offer both inside and out. The exterior architecture is influenced by Spanish colonial designs. Interiors follow through, with rustic design cues and earth tones supporting the overall vision. Beautiful beamed ceilings, custom cabinetry, stone, tile, and plenty of copper are used throughout the manse creating a luxe aesthetic that keeps the natural world in mind.
Modern fixtures and smart features place the residence firmly in the 21st century, however. The 1997-built home saw a comprehensive renovation in 2007; at that time a two-bedroom, one-bath guest home was added to the property.
There are five bedrooms, 7.5 baths throughout; the master suite’s kiva fireplace is a nice touch, with white stucco setting off the walnut floors beautifully. The master bathroom boasts a wall of glass panels and a deep copper soaking tub for taking in the natural landscape from the comfort of a warm bath.
The house is situated on 18 acres. A par-3 pitch, a whiffle ball field, a putting area are incorporated on the grounds, and approved plans to construct an equestrian center are included in the sale.
