Following the introduction of the updated C-Class sedan, luxury automaker Mercedes-Benz has introduced the refreshed new 2019 C-Class Coupe and Cabriolet.
The updated vehicles made their debuts at this year’s New York Auto Show. Both C-Class builds boast slight revisions that present a fresh new look for the upcoming year. In addition to standard full LED headlights, the models receive a darker mesh grille pattern, lower front air intakes, and, on the 2019 Mercedes-AMG C43, quad round exhaust tips.
Mercedes’ COMAND infotainment system gets a refresh, but the standard 10.25-inch screen remains intact. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, updated navigation systems, and standard keyless entry and startup also roll over from 2018.
Many of the more significant updates are hidden under the hood. The new versions of the C300 and C300 4Matic Mercedes models benefit from a more powerful 2.0-liter turbo-four producing 255 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque. The C43 coupe sees an upgrade as well, with a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine making 385 hp and 384 lb-ft of torque.
All of the updated 2019 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe and Cabriolet vehicles will also boast nine-speed automatic transmissions, as well as new safety technologies like forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking.
