Live Nation CEO Michael Rapino and his wife, actress Jolene Blalock, have picked up a beautiful Malibu Beach home for $11 million. The pair was able to snatch up the luxe property for almost $1 million under ask.
The streetside impression looms a bit, with industrial flourishes, and very boxy architecture. But the 3,305-square-foot home is light and airy within. Boasting an open-concept floor plan, the home stands out with a contemporary beachfront aesthetic: beamed ceilings and wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling windows to lose none of the available ocean views. The master suite is wide-open and comforting, finding context in water views and plenty of natural light.
The kitchen gets a heavy gray treatment, which acts as fine ballast against all the light; mid-toned matte-finished hardwood acts as the envoy between these influences. There are three bedrooms in the main house, and a separate guesthouse with an additional bedroom. The exterior features an expansive wooden deck that spans the back of the residence.
Rapino has served as Live Nation’s CEO and president since 2005. Blalock appeared in “Star Trek: Enterprise” and a number of television shows besides, including “CSI: Miami” and “House.”
