A number of impressive watches made their debuts at the 88th Geneva Motor show. But, for the automotive-themed watch-lover, the collaborative creation from Richard Mille and McLaren stood out in relief from the rest.

The Swiss watchmaker partnered with the high-end automaker to develop the RM 11-03 McLaren Automatic Flyback Chronograph. The limited-edition watch is the result of the first collaboration between the two luxury brands, and it looks like a winner; the excessive tech detail accumulates into a rather beautiful overall execution.

The curved face takes styling cues straight from McLaren‘s automobile range. Crafted from carbon TPT® and orange quartz TPT®, the case is durable and sporty. Titanium pushers and inserts, and a grade 5 titanium crown keep it well nigh bulletproof.

The 11-03 gets a RM rubber strap with the McLaren Speedmark logo, and the interior setup a skeletonized, automatic RMAC3 caliber. The flyback chronograph with a variable-geometry rotor guarantees precise timekeeping and top-notch performance, essential when keeping time running laps.

And, for those who want to make the timepiece even more special, an option lets them actually match their McLaren Ultimate Series edition number to the caseback number on their watch.

Only 500 examples of the RM 11-03 McLaren Automatic Flyback Chronograph will be available, at $191,500 each.
