Luxury automaker BMW is honoring the 30th anniversary of its M-series convertibles with a special 300-unit run of its BMW M4 Convertible Edition 30 Jahre. The limited-ed variant pays homage to the M3 convertible, while formally ushering in the M4.

Each of the anniversary-edition vehicles comes with BMW’s Competition Package. The package is typically priced at $4,250 and includes an adaptive suspension, upgraded exhaust, better steering, added sports software settings, and an extra 19 horsepower to bring the rating to just under 450. In addition, these special BMWs also receive 20-inch matte gray alloy wheels and a series of flashy exterior accents in a special high-gloss treatment.

Exterior colors will again defer to the M3 convertible as inspiration. Merino leather interiors will enhance the exterior; customers who get their hands on the Macao Blue BMW will be able to choose between a silver-on-black or blue-on-black theme, and drivers of the Mandarin II Yellow vehicles will enjoy matching interior accents.
