Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Kenley Jansen recently placed his Redondo Beach home on the market for $2.35 million.

The two-story Los Angeles-area home was built in 2008 and boasts a mix of East Coast traditional, contemporary, and Craftsman styles. Standout exterior features include tapered columns supporting a covered patio, paneled siding, decorative overhanging eaves, and stone accents.

The stylish mashup continues inside across all 2,710 square feet; the contemporary flavor of the glass-sided staircase is offset with a barn-door, for example, as the spaces swing between the flashy and the rustic. Dark wood prevails, and, combined with largely gray-scale and beige toning, gives the interiors a moody feel.

The four-bedroom residence has a well-appointed kitchen with a center island, in addition to an office/den space and separate living and dining areas. The master suite features a walk-in closet, and French doors leading out to a private balcony. The property squeezes in a small fenced play space, an outdoor kitchen, and a patio area.

Jansen, a two-time all-star pitcher, paid $1.595 million for the home roughly three years ago.
