Investor Peter Lynch recently relisted his retreat in Scottsdale, Arizona. Lynch is now asking $9.5 million for the estate, which features modern Southwest-style architecture and a great deal of space: the main house measures over 14,000 square feet, and the property extends to 7.5 acres.

The adobe-style desert residence holds eight bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, and a number of luxurious amenities, including landscaping that transforms the desert locale into a private oasis. The multi-structure estate is surrounded by cacti and rock formations and was built in 2006 by Fisher Construction, Mariette Gomez Design Group, and Jeff Biever Architecture.

In addition to walls of windows and modern furnishings, the home boasts a number of expansive living spaces. The dining room wows with incredible views of the desert, while the family room offers plenty of comfort thanks to sliding glass doors and a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace. The kitchen is finished with dark wood cabinets, hardwood floors, and black countertops.

The exterior spaces incorporate several outdoor entertaining spots, a courtyard with a fireplace, a patio with a stone fireplace, a covered dining pavilion, a bar, and a lagoon-style swimming pool and hot tub.

The property was listed for the first time in 2016, with an asking price of $14 million.

Peter Lynch ran the most successful mutual fund in the world between 1977 and 1990; he averaged a 29.2% annual return. Assets under management ballooned from $18 million to $14 billion.
