Screenwriter and director Doug Ellin recently relisted his Beverly Hills mansion for $8.995 million.
Ellin, who is best known for creating HBO’s hit TV show “Entourage” and the 2015 film based on the show, originally listed the residence in the fall for $9.995 million, so this $1-million reduction will hopefully result in a quick sale. Ellin paid $5.93 million for the home in 2008, so he stands to make a good return on his investment, even with the price slash.
The sprawling 5,780-square-foot two-story home is set behind gates and hedges on roughly a third of an acre. The mansion features traditional-style architecture, and boasts a number of standout features including dark hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, and a large horseshoe-shaped driveway.
There are six bedrooms and seven bathrooms throughout. The master suite features a walk-in closet, fireplace, and steam shower. The backyard is impressive as well, with a step-down rotunda bar and a swimming pool incorporated within privacy landscaping.
