Hi-Power Cycles has introduced its newest e-bike, the Typhoon Pro. It’s fast, it’s got great range, and its design conjures the industrial revolution without being overtly steampunk. What more could a hip millennial ask?
Hi-Power’s newest model builds off of the success of the brand’s Revolution X electric bike that debuted in July 2017. The Typhoon Pro is a similar bike and continues to elevate the company’s reputation for crafting incredible bikes.
HPC’s Revolution X is a 5,000-watt urban bike capable of reaching speeds up to 50 mph. The Typhoon Pro was designed with off-roading in mind, and gets its power from a 6,000-watt motor generating a max speed of up to 45 mph. Riders can also upgrade to a 7,000-watt motor for an increase in torque.
In addition to a lithium-ion battery with a range of 100 miles, the Typhoon Pro boasts a number of new components including hydraulic disc breaks, updated suspension, and a new drivetrain. Owners can also opt for larger 1,800- and 2,400-watt batteries for extended range. All that power and performance is paired with a sleek black and bronze aesthetic for that appealing retro-inspired look.
HPC’s Typhoon Pro is available starting at $11,500.
