Oscar-winning actor Sir Michael Caine has sold his Miami Beach condo for $7.45 million.
The seventh-floor South Beach condo impresses with a number of luxurious features, including walls of glass windows and views of the Atlantic Ocean. The glass-walled unit welcomes visitors via a private elevator lobby and a luxurious entrance gallery.
Once inside, guests and residents alike benefit from plenty of sun in the open and airy combination living and dining room. In addition to walls of floor-to-ceiling windows, there’s also a massive 2,441-square-foot glass railed terrace complete with its own outdoor kitchen.
In addition to three guest or family bedrooms, the layout includes a large kitchen with a wine fridge, a family room, a media room, and an expansive master suite add touches of comfort. The condo purchase also comes with two air-conditioned garage parking spots and access to the building’s gym, spa, party pavilion, and swimming pool.
The unit was first listed last year for $8.7 million; Caine and his wife, Shakira ‘Roxanne’ Caine, paid just $4.076 million for the Apogee South Beach complex unit back in 2008. They made a wise investment.
Caine has appeared in more than 100 movies, including classics like “Alfie” and “The Italian Job.” He is a two-time Oscar-winner, taking home a statuette for the 1986 Woody Allen entry “Hannah and her Sisters,” and 1999’s “The Cider House Rules.”
