Billionaire heiress and movie producer Megan Ellison has sold her Los Angeles-area property for $4.07 million. Unfortunately for Ellison, the sale chalks up as a loss of $1.18 million; Ellison purchased the manse for $5.25 million in March 2015.

Located above Hollywood in the Mount Olympus neighborhood, the modern five-bedroom home impresses with incredible views of L.A. The 4,309-square-foot home boasts a refined, modern aesthetic with walls of glass mixed with vertical strips of dark walnut panels. Despite its luxe features like white marble floors, dual-zone heating and cooling, floor-to-ceiling sliding automatic sliding glass doors, and an advanced security system, the residence was on the market for more than a year.

The expansive property also features lengths of glass-railed decks looking over the swimming pool below and the Pacific beyond.

The new owner is none other than Teddi Jo Mellencamp of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” who happens to own another property nearby that’s currently available for $3.195 million.
