Diehard Volvo drivers suffering from model indecision now have an option beyond buying or leasing. The Swedish automaker is offering customers the option to subscribe to its new Care by Volvo program.
For $600 a month, the special subscription allows drivers to get into the 2019 XC40 Momentum without much of the hassle involved in car buying. Drivers will simply pay the fixed monthly fee for the vehicle; maintenance, roadside assistance, concierge service, and an insurance plan from Liberty Mutual are all included as well.
The bundled automotive plan takes a lot of the headache out of car ownership so drivers can enjoy their vehicles without worrying about added costs for oil changes, new windshield wipers, brake pad replacements, or the headache of a fender bender—those are included as well. It’s “sign and drive” in its purest form.
In addition to the Volvo factory warranty, drivers are offered unparalleled coverage and peace of mind for two years of ownership. Even better, Volvo subscribers can upgrade to a newer model after the first year.
Volvo joins other automakers, including Porsche, offering such a service. Many already subscribe to services like Spotify and Netflix, so why not subscribe to an automobile service as well?
