Automobile tuning specialist LARTE Design unveiled their Maserati Levante SUV kit, the SHTORM, in Russia last autumn. The kit was a hit.

Now, the California-based company—which has offices in Germany, as well as Russia—is going for the gold here in the U.S. as well; they’ve listed the SHTORM kit for the Levante on their website, and they proudly presented their improved version of the slick sport-utility vehicle at the L.A. Auto Show earlier this month.

The Levante is one of the better-looking SUVs on the market right now, so there was a lot for the design team at LARTE to work with as a foundation. The finished example the company showed off in L.A. a few weeks ago is dressed in Maserati’s Blu Emozione, and the flashy metallic royal blue looks outstanding with the various carbon fiber components of the kit.

Carbon fiber was used for 17 pieces of the kit, including the hood, air intakes, wheel arches, extra front splitter, rear spoiler, and rear diffuser. The front splitter and rear spoiler added by LARTE gives the Levante its uniquely urban look and feel, stem to stern.

LARTE also gave the SHTORM kit a set of aluminum tailpipes, although carbon pipes are available for interested buyers. And, to cap off the look, the tuning kit includes a set of 22” Lexani MBT wheels, with hubcaps that show off the LARTE name.
