Audemars Piguet has partnered with Italian jewelry designer Carolina Bucci to give new life to its collection of Millenary watches.
Introduced at Dubai Watch Week, the brand’s three new pieces immediately attracted attention, but the new Frosted Gold example, which was designed with Bucci’s help, still has horo-philes talking. The Millenary Frosted Gold offers a high-end feminine take on a classic timepiece with a glimmering, hammered appearance.
The newest addition of second-skin-style straps also provides a fresh update to the popular watches, thanks to a metal bracelet strap option for both white and rose gold watch cases.
Audemars Piguet’s 2018 series is quite similar to the line’s 2015 iteration, but the addition of Polish bracelets gives the timepieces a classic, vintage-inspired look. Since the metal bracelets feature adjustable links every 5mm, wearers can customize the fit more precisely to the size of their wrist, making the watchband nearly as comfortable as a “second skin.”
