BMW Motorrad has introduced its newest touring motorcycle, and it’s built to make long-range travel more comfortable than ever.

The new BMW K 1600 Grand America Touring Motorcycle is ideal for cross-country adventuring, and, ever since its debut at EICMA in Milan, it’s been making a big impression as a new standard in class. The bike takes inspiration from the brand’s K 1600 B, but adds even more power to the equation.

Equipped with a 6-cylinder engine making 160 hp at 7,750 rpm, the touring bike is powerful; it’s safe, too, thanks to engine protection bars, Dynamic Traction Control DTC, ABS Pro, a xenon headlight, and Shift Assistant Pro to help riders shift more naturally.

A number of special elements were added to make long-distance rides as comfortable as possible: heated grips, seat heating, three riding modes, cruise control, and an audio system with navigation cues all enhance extended open-air roving.

BMW’s K 1600 Grand American Touring Motorcycle’s sleek build keeps travel fatigue to a minimum during longer driving sessions. The bike also features chrome-plated rear silencers, and an optional Style Package with a two-tone color finish in Blackstorm metallic or Austin Yellow metallic.
