Luxury travel has a whole new feel with the introduction of Emirates‘ new 777 Fleet. And it looks like the new paradigm for that old chestnut ‘the only way to fly.’
Emirates unveiled the revamped 777 at the recent Dubai Air Show. Each of the new Boeing 777-300ER airplanes incorporates new first-class suites that offer unparalleled levels of comfort. Each 777 will feature six of the new suites boasting 1 -1 – 1 configurations in place of the airline’s traditional first class arrangement of 1 – 2 – 1.
Luxury first-class suite passengers will have up to 40 square feet of personal space and plenty of privacy thanks to floor-to-ceiling sliding doors. Travelers will also enjoy individual overhead compartment spaces and full-length closets.
Taking inspiration from the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, the luxury suites boast a light cream color palette and a number of added amenities, and were styled by Jacques Pierre Jean Design. They feature upscale tech from Panasonic.
The most interesting novelty of an Emirates’ 777 suite is the option of entering a “zero-gravity” position for the ultimate in weightless comfort and relaxation. Each suite passenger will also have access to dine-on-demand meals, plenty of entertainment options, Bowers & Wilkins Active Noise Cancelling E1 headphones, personal minibars, and special “inspiration kits” for added comfort.
