In addition to the announcement of its electric semi-truck and tire-shredding roadster, American automaker Tesla has quietly introduced a somewhat smaller product: their new phone battery pack.
The portable charger is shaped like Tesla’s Supercharger Station monument located at the Tesla Design Studio. In addition to its unique look, the compact powerbank includes an integrated USB, an Apple lightning connector, and a detachable micro USB.
The device offers its users a charge status indicator in addition to a high-efficiency circuitry to maximize battery capacity. Speaking of battery, the external powerbank boasts a single 18650 cell with 3350mAh capacity.
Available for $45, the Tesla Powerbank is powerful as well with 5V/1.5A max output. And, it looks awfully fetching, too, as it helps Tesla to make their Superchargers iconic symbols of company-specific service.
