Canadian actress Molly Parker has listed her Echo Park cottage for just under $900,000.
The “Deadwood” and “House of Cards” star’s Los Angeles-area bungalow was built in the 1920s, and boasts Spanish-style architecture with a fresh and modern interior aesthetic. The 1,300-square-foot home is quaint and cozy, with two bedrooms and one bathroom throughout, and a living area with a freestanding iron woodstove and a brick hearth.
Set up the hill from its detached street-level one-car garage, the hipster-friendly bungalow boasts a contemporary eat-in kitchen with features like black-and-white ceramic tiles, butcher-block countertops, and a restored antique range.
In addition to an open-plan living and dining room, the master suite features built-in cabinetry, a dressing area, and a walk-in closet. The residence also features a terraced backyard with a multilevel deck, a quaint art studio, and a number of herb and vegetable planters.
Parker, who received a 2016 Emmy nod for her portrayal of Jackie Sharp on “House of Cards,” will soon appear in the Netflix revision of the TV series “Lost in Space.”
The actress purchased the home for $580,000 back in 2004.
