German Tuner Novitec has put their own unique stamp on the Rolls-Royce Dawn.
While Rolls-Royce is happy to customize vehicles in nearly any color or trim that a customer desires, opting for a wider base and the addition of a number of carbon-fiber elements isn’t a wish the luxury automaker is willing to grant.
And this is where Novitec’s special Spofec division comes in. Spofec is the tuner’s Rolls-exclusive division, and they were able to widen the Dawn by 5.12 inches, merging the classic style of the Rolls with a sportscar design cue. Spofec also added their own custom ceramic brakes, as well as plenty of carbon fiber, and they altered the suspension for a lower stance.
The resulting limited edition model, called the Dawn Overdose, boasts impressive specs: 677 hp and 723 lb-ft of torque, and a quicker zero-to-62 mph leap of 4.6 seconds. The top speed remains the same at 155 mph, due to the vehicle’s considerable weight. That’s a Rolls fundamental.
Spofec completed the transformation with flared arches, carbon bumpers, and 22-inch alloys. Only eight examples of the special Rolls-Royce will be produced.
