Architecture fans with a love for travel have a new alternative to Airbnb with PlansMatter.

Like Airbnb, PlansMatter is a unique new service offering homes to rent for travelers. However, the service only rents out the most beautiful and/or architecturally relevant properties; some of them can easily be confused as large art installations or smaller, upscale museums.

Travelers have access to a number of modern rentals boasting iconic architectural pedigrees. Some of the currently available properties were designed by architects like Olson Kundig, Christian Muller, Frank Lloyd Wright, and others.

PlansMatter aims to provide its guests with an experience beyond simple comfort, offering exploration and wonder in the day’s adventures and while relaxing in the rental. And, each listing has been visited by at least one PlansMatter team member to ensure there are no surprises.

PlansMatter is already diversifying: the company has recently added classic, singular hotels to its offerings.
