“Empire” actress Taraji P. Henson has listed her Chicago condominium for $1.525 million.
The three-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom condo is located on one of the top floors of a high-rise complex in the Streeterville neighborhood. Henson purchased the 2,159-square-foot unit for $1.408 million about two and a half years ago.
A number of features make the condo especially luxurious, including a chic neutral paint scheme, refinished dark brown hardwood floors, and walls of windows in the triangular combination living-dining room.
In addition to electronic shades and a faux fireplace in the living room, the kitchen features a fair amount of requisite flash: stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, and dark chocolate brown cabinetry offer texture and high-end condo cred. A glass-railed balcony located off the dining room offering incredible views of Ohio Street Beach, the Navy Pier, and Lake Michigan.
Henson has earned three Emmy nominations, in addition to an Oscar nod for her role in “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.” The actress owns a number of luxurious California properties, including a Laurel Canyon home she purchased for $6.45 million last year.
