Rapper Eminem has made quick work of selling his Rochester Hills, Michigan, mansion. But, then, it was priced to sell. Eminem realized $1.9 million against a listing price of $1.999 million set last August, when the property hit the market.
The iconic performer unfortunately took quite a loss in bidding adieu to his 17,500-square-foot manse; he originally paid $4.75 million for the property in 2003.
Although the five-bedroom, 10-bathroom home located outside of Detroit boasts a number of luxe amenities, it’s believed that Eminem and his family rarely stayed at the residence. Set on 5.69 wooded acres, the rapper’s getaway property features a number of entertainment features, a pool, cabana, sport court, and game room among them.
In addition to a simple modern interior, elements like hardwood floors and expansive living spaces make it the perfect choice for a family. There’s also a guardhouse, a private pond, a five-car garage, and a guesthouse offering extra elements of comfort.
Eminem is one of the most successful musicians of all time, earning 15 Grammies and an Oscar, in addition to recently celebrating a 7-year streak of his album “Recovery” maintaining its rank on the Billboard 200 chart. Globally, he has sold more than 172 million albums.
