French watchmaker Bell & Ross has eliminated all but the essential pieces in its new All-Clear BR-X1 Skeleton Tourbillon Sapphire watch.
A case made entirely from sapphire crystal allows for a clear view of the watch’s mechanics from any angle. The blocks are all specially carved for each example.
A stand out in the increasingly option-rich luxury watch marketplace, the BR-X1 utilizes a hypnotic 3Hz manually wound BR-CAL.288 movement. The markers are subtly present.
In addition to showing off the mechanics of the watch, the 45mm square case is scratch-proof and boasts a 100-hour power reserve.
A clear strap finishes the look. The Bell & Ross BR-X1 Skeleton Tourbillon Sapphire is available in a limited run of just eight examples, and is currently available for $385,000.
