Many automakers design special concept vehicles just for racing video games like Gran Turismo 6. While most are so outlandish that they never hit real pavement, this year, there’s an exception.
A select few will enjoy real-life builds of the Zagato IsoRivolta Vision Gran Turismo. The concept was introduced at this year’s Tokyo Motor Show, and now Zagato has confirmed they’ll be creating between three and five special-edition non-virtual models for lucky customers.
The incredible supercar takes inspiration from Iso sports cars of the 1960s and ’70s, and boasts special details on the hood that recall the Iso Grifo coupe. The Vision GT makes good use of a Corvette engine, too; the Italian coachbuilder and designer opted for a souped-up twin-turbo from Callaway that makes 997 horsepower. All those horses help Vision GT along to a blazing zero-to-62 mph leap of just 2.7 seconds, and a top speed of 227 mph.
Virtual adventure will literally become reality for the lucky few who get their hands on one of these super limited-edition Zagato IsoRivolta builds.
