Popular YouTube personality Logan Paul has purchased a flashy, timber-clad Los Angeles-area home for $6.55 million.
Located in the Rancho Estates neighborhood of Encino, the video maker’s new home boasts a contemporary aesthetic bursting with rustic tropes and a more than a hint of Alpine influence. The house was designed by noted architect Robert Byrd, whose harmonious, earthy designs have become increasingly popular in the past twenty years.
Although built in the ’70s, the 8,700-square-foot home has undergone an extensive remodel by Maxim Cherniavsky, bringing a decidedly flashy dimension to the interiors without overwhelming Byrd’s vision. Some of the stand-out features include an industrial steel staircase, a mixed-medium wet bar, and a luxe kitchen with plenty of marble.
In addition to seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms, the home also holds a glass-enclosed wine wall set into the original brickwork. Of course, the master suite is worthy of note as well with a custom closet and a spa-worthy bath.
Even with such luxurious features inside, the backyard is rivals it, with expansive lawns, mature trees, an outdoor kitchen, a swimming pool, and a separate guesthouse filling out the grounds.
