Like Mother, Like Daughter: Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian Drop a Combined $4.8M on Calabasas Condos

Kris Jenner and daughter Kim Kardashian West have both invested in the Los Angeles-area condo community Avanti. The L.A. Times reported that Jenner and West each purchased properties in the upscale complex through a blind trust; the duo collectively purchased three units, with Jenner purchasing one for $1.5 million and another for $1.7 million, and West paid $1.6 million for a third.

Square footage, bedroom and bath counts, and specific layout information is not available at this time. However, general information on the residences at Avanti is available, and details living spaces between about 2,100 and 2,650 square feet, with units containing either two or three bedrooms. All units are flats, and there is retail and office space in the complex, allowing for a planned community with all necessities and amenities within easy access. The community is incorporated well into Calabasas, and was engineered to seamlessly integrate with the city.

Photographs present building exteriors that are designed vaguely in the Italian style, and suggest the breezy, casual feel of architecture of the Mediterranean, with a wealth of interior/exterior flow, and wide, invitational entryways.

Unit interiors are well considered, and materials and appliances are top-notch. Master suites are generously proportioned, and highlighted as personal sanctuaries; all bedrooms are designed en-suite.

The quotidian exploits of the Jenner/Kardashian clan will continue on E! for the foreseeable future; the family discussed it and decided to continue filming. A close call, because that decision could’ve gone either way.

Season 15 is in production this fall.
