Country singer-songwriter Jake Owen has put his Tennessee home on the market for $1.5 million.
Owen purchased the 4,918-square-foot Cheatham County home back in 2012 for $625,000. The home was owned at one time by Loretta Lynn, and the seller was her daughter.
Located just half an hour from Nashville, the four-bedroom contemporary French country-style home is surrounded by 7 acres of forest, but is also within driving distance of the big city.
The living room is the natural center of the home, and features plenty of glass, an indoor balcony, a vaulted wood-beamed ceiling, and a sliding wood door opening to the kitchen. While the house boasts a rustic-chic aesthetic, the kitchen is thoroughly modern, and features a stainless steel sink and matching appliances.
One thing that makes the residence especially appealing is its two master-suite layout. What might be considered the “main” master is outfitted with dark hardwood floors. It is accented with a walk-in closet, and a bathroom with a free-standing tub.
Additional elements like a gym, an elevator, and a recording studio make it the perfect fit for another musician or celebrity. There’s also a hardwood patio out back with a fireplace and a custom tiki bar.
Owen’s hit songs include “Something About a Woman,” “Anywhere with You,” and “Barefoot Blue Jean Night.”
