Actress Bianca Kajlich of “Rules of Engagement” just made $2.9 million on the sale of her Los Angeles-area home.
Located between Venice and Mariana del Rey, Kajlich’s now-former digs boasts four bedrooms and three bathrooms spread across nearly 2,000 square feet. The actress purchased the adorably renovated 1940s cottage in 2010 for about $1.3 million.
The house sold for a bit more than its original ask of $2.7 million; it’s desirability is in part due to its private location on a corner parcel, set behind a massive privacy hedge. Inside, the new owner may have been entranced by the vaulted ceiling in the combination living-dining room, and the matte-finished wide-plank floorboards throughout.
With a number of skylights added to the house, the space is a natural conduit of light, with white walls and an endless series of windows.
The main floor holds three guest bedrooms, with the master occupying the entire second floor; the suite features a stylish bathroom, a vaulted ceiling, and French doors opening onto a private terrace.
The backyard is worthy of note as well with a small patch of grass, a tree-shaded deck, and a comfortable outdoor living room.
In addition to her work on “Rules of Engagement,” Kajlich is the star of “Undateable.”
