British lifestyle company Barbour has partnered with East Coast Defender to create a unique new custom Land Rover for Orvis’ promotional series. With Barbour on board, one imagines a super-British articulation of the Land Rover, one that embodies the British Isles in feel, form and function.

And that’s the result. Collaborating at EDC’s Kissimmee, Florida, workshop, the two companies crafted this customized Land Rover Defender 90. Mixing timeless U.K. design elements and materials, the vintage-inspired vehicle pays homage to the classic D90. A super sleek exterior look meets with Barbour Tartan door pockets and Saddle Leather to offer a classic aesthetic.

The Land Rover is both smartly designed and powerful thanks to a rebuilt Rover V8 engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. Other features like a Kenwood stereo with Infinity speakers, a MOMO Indy steering wheel, and 15-inch Wolf Steel wheels with BFGoodrich All-terrain tires complete the custom build with an emphasis on creature comforts
