Former Sacramento King DeMarcus Cousins has listed his Granite Bay, California, home for $5.399 million.
The listing didn’t come as much of a surprise since the NBA all-star was traded to the New Orleans Pelicans last year. Cousins purchased the Northern California home outside of Sacramento in 2013, the same year he signed a four-year, $62-million max extension with the Kings.
Set on 2.3 acres, the six-bedroom, 7.5-bath Mediterranean-style manse stretches to 13,690 square feet, and features a tennis court and a 10-car garage. The home boasts multiple levels, and design highlights include a foyer with a dramatically vaulted ceiling, marble accents, complex custom molding, painted domes, and five stone fireplaces.
In addition to formal dining and living rooms, the home boasts a large center-island kitchen, a wine cellar, and a family/media room with a wet bar that’s perfect for hosting friends and family. The backyard is entertainment-oriented as well, with a swimming pool and spa, a patio with an outdoor kitchen and pizza oven, two fire pits, and a vineyard.
