In the midst of a pending divorce, reality TV star Tamar Braxton and music exec husband Vincent Herbert have listed their Calabasas estate for $15 million.
The main house stretches to 13,716 square feet, as is designed in the Mediterranean style. It is set behind the gates of the celeb-filled Estates at The Oaks enclave. The pair purchased the seven-bedroom home for $10.5 million in 2013.
Guests enter through wrought iron front doors before being welcomed into a foyer and a wrought-iron railed staircase. Once inside, visitors can enjoy the expansive living spaces and beautiful central gallery complete with wide-plank hardwood floors, an ornate fireplace, and a champagne bar inspired by The Dorchester Hotel. Other amenities include a game room, an office, a home theater, a recording studio, a gentlemen’s lounge, a gym, a home theater, and a subterranean parking garage.
In addition to the opulent main house, there’s also a poolside guesthouse. A large stone-paved loggia complete with retractable canvas shade awnings acts as a conduit for the property, and is the ideal space for a large al fresco dinner prepared in the outdoor kitchen.
The Oaks is known for its celebrity residents, including Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, Travis Barker, and Dr. Phil’s son, Jay McGraw.
