In light of the introduction of Land Rover’s new Hybrid Range Rover, the luxury SUV market is more competitive than ever. But BMW is making quite the impression with special editions for the X5 and X6. BMW’s SUVs and crossovers keep getting better looking, and now they’re taking care of the buyer for whom off-the-rack is not-an-option.
The first special edition is based on the X5 SUV, and it presents elements from the M Sport package and the Dakota leather trim. Featuring heated front seats, Alcantara and leather black upholstery, or BMW Individual extended leather upholstery Merino in five color options, the new edition is fun to drive, and customizable too.
With the exception of the BMW X5 M5od, all variants of the BMW X5 can receive the Special Edition treatment, if desired. Special Edition standard features include BMW’s Multifunctional Instrument Display and sun protection glass.
BMW’s special-edition X6 boasts the striking Long Beach Blue metallic paint paired with carbon-fiber interior trim strips, but Mineral White and Carbon Black hues are also available. The X6 also benefits from M Sport package elements like 20-inch M light-alloy wheels, although there is a 21-inch wheel option as well.
Both special-edition BMW models will be available this December.
