Actor Josh Hartnett has reduced the asking price on his Manhattan penthouse to $3.8 million.
Hartnett originally listed the Tribeca neighborhood unit for $4.25 million, which is nearly double what he paid for the 1,965-square-foot apartment back in 2004. Even with the price cut, the actor is set to make a nice profit of roughly $1.5 million on the sale.
The loft-style penthouse features a unique trapezoid-shaped open-concept living space with luxe features like high ceilings, hardwood floors, and a custom lighting system. With $5,033 in maintenance fees a month, the listing may just earn its keep with ten four-pane sash windows set into an expansive exposed brick wall.
Covered in a coat of white paint, the exposed brick meets with built-in floating cabinets to offer a modern and minimalist appeal that continues throughout the rest of the unit. There’s also a corkscrew staircase in the living room leading up to a roughly 940-square-foot terrace that offers views of the city skyline.
The striking penthouse is located in a 1915-built co-op building overlooking Bogardus Gardens and offering a video intercom entry system, a bike storage area, a full-time super, and a landscaped roof terrace.
Hartnett, who is known for his roles in “Penny Dreadful,” “Pearl Harbor,” and “Black Hawk Down,” recently starred in the survival drama “6 Below: Miracle on the Mountain.”
