Restoration Hardware CEO Gary Friedman has just sold two of his California homes, pocketing nearly $18.9 million in the process.

Friedman’s first former property is located on one acre in California’s Napa Valley-area town of St. Helena. After shelling out $5.9 million to purchase the manse, he began a large renovation project and eventually listed the estate for $10.5 million.

After a series of price cuts, the 5,410-square-foot, Vineyard-surrounded home sold at a much lower price of $7.55 million. Known as Eight Palms, the five-bedroom home comes complete with a gray and white aesthetic, an expansive outdoor living room, a yoga studio, and a poolside guesthouse.

The businessman picked up the second property in 2014, but this time he went south to Beverly Hills to purchase. Friedman paid $9.9 million for the L.A.-area four-bedroom contemporary. Stretching to roughly 4,300 square feet, the luxurious home is ultra-modern with features like disappearing glass panels, wide plank wood floors, white marble, and a double-sided fireplace.

The master suite is of note as well with a dressing room, a white marble accented bathroom, and disappearing glass walls opening to a lounging terrace.

Friedman still owns a number of other properties, including a Mediterranean villa in the Bay area.
