Luxury automaker Lamborghini and renowned watchmaker Roger Dubuis have paired to create the striking new Roger Dubuis Excalibur Aventador S.

The new watch takes inspiration from Lamborghini’s Aventador S supercar, and the special collaboration between two incredible brands results in a timepiece that captures the raw power and fluid motion of its namesake.

In order to imitate the complexity of a Lambo engine, the Swiss watchmaker came up with Duotor, the uniquely designed movement architecture that gives the timepiece its powerful look. The parallels to the Aventador S continue with two balance wheels propped at an angle to mimic the vehicle’s V-layout engine.

Each balance wheel is individually tuned and runs at a different rate, while a remontoir d’egalité generates movement for the central seconds hand. All the complex pieces held inside the 45mm case are well protected, thanks to water resistance of up to 164 feet.

Both variations of the watch are called the Excalibur Aventador S, but there are a few slight variations to examine.

The first version boasts a multi-layered carbon case with a titanium container and yellow accents. Available for $194,500, 88 of the carbon case watches will be produced.

Only 8 units of the second version will be available, which uses C-SMC forged carbon detailed with distinct orange accents. Each forged carbon timepiece runs for $216,000.
