Luxury carmaker Lotus has just introduced a new Sport edition of its popular Evora. And this is one Lotus Evora variant that will be making it to U.S. shores.

The British company’s new Evora GT430 Sport is similar to the GT430, with a select number of alterations. The most significant changes include the option of a six-speed automatic transmission and a larger production run.

While only 60 editions of the GT430 were produced, more Evora fans will have access to the new Sport edition. Those drivers can expect to find the same powerful 3.5-liter V6 engine that graces other Evora siblings. The powerplant makes 430 horsepower with help of an Edelbrock supercharger.

While the new model is 24 pounds heavier, the GT430 Sport automatic is still quite lightweight, and able to launch from zero to 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds. This Lotus has a top speed of 170 mph, but the manual model can zoom to 196 mph.

Like the GT430, the Sport model is stacked with carbon fiber elements, advanced braking and traction control systems, and black Alcantara interiors. The GT430 Sport is available starting at $136,000.
