Green Day lead bassist Mike Dirnt has just reduced the price on his quirky-cool Montecito, California, home to $4.05 million.

The founding member of the iconic pop-punk band first listed the beachfront property for $4.8 million. Located in a gated neighborhood set on Miramar Beach, the apartment-sized home is only 1,186 square feet, but it spans three stories.

The three-bedroom, two-bath bungalow features a number of unique features. Hand-plastered walls, exposed wood ceiling beams, and heated exotic wood floors are notable details.

The bottom level holds two adjoining bedrooms, and the middle floor is where the future owner will relax in the combined kitchen/living/dining space. The top floor boasts a second kitchen and the third bedroom, which features a barrel-vaulted roof and a captain’s bed.

Dirnt is a five-time Grammy-winning guitarist who owns a number of other Southern California properties.
