While there’s plenty of competition when it comes to digital media players, Apple is hoping to stay above it all with the introduction of its new Apple TV 4K module.

This is the first hardware upgrade to the streaming device in two years, and the new model is sure to impress with its dazzling 4K resolution and High Dynamic Range (HDR). While previous iterations had only offered up to 1080p HD, Apple’s updated box boasts streaming capabilities of up to 2160p 4K.

Capable of automatically optimizing settings based on the attached television, the Apple TV 4K is also equipped to handle HDR10 and Dolby Vision.

The 32 GB model is available to preorder now for $179,; the 64 GB version is priced at $199. The new Apple TV 4K units will hit stores September 22.
