Actors Genie Francis and Jonathan Frakes have just purchased a new home in Woodland Hills for $2.8 million.

The soap-star and actor-director’s new L.A.-area mansion is a beautiful French Provincial-style home located in a guard-gated enclave. Stretching to nearly 9,000 square feet, the six-bedroom, 9-bath abode is quite impressive.

After entering into a double-height foyer with a crystal chandelier, curved staircase, and marble floors, the interior flow leads very naturally toward the spacious formal living and dining rooms. In addition to an expansive kitchen, there’s also an office with a coffered ceiling, and a giant entertainment room with a wet bar.

Of course, the master suite is luxurious as well, and features a fireplace and private terrace; the master bath sports a soaking tub in pink marble, and a dry sauna. The property exterior features a built-in barbecue, a gazebo, and a swimming pool.

Francis is best known for her role as Laura Spencer on “General Hospital,” while Frakes gained fame as William Riker in the “Star Trek” movies.
