In comes the new. While Canon did just announce the retirement of its entry-level EOS M10 mirrorless camera, the company has just introduced its replacement: the EOS M100.
In place of the beginner-level mirrorless M10, Canon’s new M100 was designed for photographers ready to upgrade from smartphone-quality images to a high-resolution snapper.
The EOS M100 is the perfect camera for making that transition with easy continuous shooting, fast autofocus, and an impressive high-resolution image sensor. Complete with a 24.2-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor, the device can achieve continuous shooting up to 6.1 fps with fixed AF.
Additional features like a DIGIC 7 image processor, full HD video recording at 60 fps, and an ISO range from 100 to 25,600 help photogs to capture the perfect image regardless of shooting demands. All that advanced technology is held in a strong rangefinder-style polycarbonate body for a steady, comfortable grip.
The new Canon EOS M100 will be available in October, starting at $599.99.
