Shoe mogul Steve Madden has just landed a luxurious new apartment in Midtown NYC for $12 million.

Madden’s new digs are located at 252 East 57th Street and stretch to 4,624 square feet. The five-bedroom, 6.5-bath unit is located in a beautiful new building and boasts interior design work from wildly in-demand architect Daniel Romualdez.

Even though this apartment includes breathtaking views of most of New York City, the unit may be a good example of an interior besting the New York cityscape. The spacious apartment features a minimalist aesthetic with 13′ ceilings, an ultra-modern kitchen, and floor-to-ceiling windows everywhere you look.

The building’s amenities include a 75-foot pool and automatic car garage. The designer owns at least one other property in his native state of New York.
