Actor and comedian Ray Romano has just landed a modern farmhouse in Venice, California, for $2.1 million.
The sitcom star’s new ranch-style digs are fairly trendy, although the house is very unassuming from the outside. At nearly 1,900 square feet, the home holds three bedrooms, a den, and 2.5 bathrooms.
The house features an expansive, loft-style combination living-dining room with shiplap-clad accent walls and wide-plank wood flooring. The nautically styled kitchen is also located in the central great room-like space.
The master suite is well proportioned, and opens onto the grassy yard through a set of French doors, where the resident will find a deck perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee.
Romano is best known for his role on “Everybody Loves Raymond,” but he recently appeared in the romantic comedy “The Big Sick.” He owns two other Southern California properties, including a Malibu getaway he purchased for $8.5 million in 2004.
