Roller skates aren’t typically associated with high fashion but this might change, and soon. Luxury designer Saint Laurent has introduced its Roller Pumps.

If you thought high-end designers had tried it all, check out YSL’s incredible roller-skate-stiletto hybrid shoe. Aside from the striking addition of heels, the shoes are quite beautiful, and offered in a number of luxe designs.

In a world where most women are expected to easily master the 5-inch heel, it should come as no surprise that the fashion world is introducing a whole new challenge. Each unique pump boasts classic YSL flair with rivets, crystals, and appliqués, and, now, wheels.

Although a bit more dangerous than the average stiletto, YSL’s new creation is certainly worth the risk. Interested daredevils can grab their own pair of roller heels for $2,600.
