After more than a year on the market, actor Stephen Dorff’s New York City duplex has finally sold.
The penthouse was first listed at $3 million, it’s listing price prior to the sale was $2.4 million. The reduction helped spur interest, though, as the unit went under contract for $2.7 million.
The “Public Enemies” actor’s former unit is quaint at just 1,200 square feet and is located in the Chelsea neighborhood. A one-bedroom, two-bath penthouse, the unit boasts a number of luxurious features like a matchbook-paneled accent wall, ebonized hardwood floors, 12-foot beamed ceilings, a custom kitchen, and an advanced surround-sound system.
The single bedroom is luxe, too, with electric blackout window shades, two custom closets, and an en-suite bathroom. The unit also includes an 850-square-foot private roof deck complete with an outdoor shower, a wet bar, custom lighting, and incredible views of the city.
Dorff has a number of film credits under his belt, and he’s set to add two more with his upcoming horror films “Leatherface” and “Jackals.” He’s also currently trying to sell a Malibu home that’s currently listed for $8.45 million.
