Only weeks after buying a two bedroom on the Upper East Side of New York, actor Chris Noth has let go of a condo in West Hollywood.
Noth—who played Det. Mike Logan on ‘Law and Order,’ and reprised the role for a trio of spin-off series—accepted an offer of $1.3 million for the property, a unit in the Shoreham Towers in West Hollywood.
The eighth-floor apartment measures around 1,600 square feet, and is a two-bedroom/two bath. A tastefully rendered space, it hasn’t seen a terribly recent renovation, but the generally warm execution is fairly understated, and has weathered well. Noth purchased the residence in 2006, for $865K.
The condo is a little compact, but not cramped; the kitchen makes especially good use of available space, with a walk-through design and a slim island. Cabinetry and floors are quite dark, but the interior accent lighting brings a bit of charm to the room by suggesting candlelit mica.
The home’s bedrooms include a guest room finished cool, with a small workspace and sitting alcove, as well as a bath with sympathetic coloring. The master suite features a platform bed, a plank hardwood ceiling, and a somewhat larger bathroom.
Noth may be forever known as ‘Mr. Big’ from the HBO series ‘Sex and the City.’ He is currently at work on another police procedural, ‘Gone,’ which will air in the U.S. on NBC.
