Music video producer John Winter has just unloaded his penthouse in downtown Los Angeles. As the unit is technically still in escrow at $1.54 million, it appears that Winter is entertaining backup offers on the residence.
Located in the Barker Block Lofts in L.A.’s Arts District, the floor-through apartment is just as hip as the videos Winter has produced for singers like Bieber, Beyoncé, and Katy Perry. Hughes Umbanhowar Architects is behind the recent ultra-contemporary remodel.
Stretching to 1,710 square feet, the stylish unit boasts exposed ductwork, brick walls, and sliding barn doors to divide the open living space. The modern home holds two bedrooms and two bathrooms, in addition to a private balcony off the living room.
The future owner will also enjoy common-use amenities like a gym and a rooftop swimming pool.
Winter holds many music video credits, but his biggest success might be Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies” video, which won Video of the Year at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.
