Executive Producer Andrew Scheinman, best known for his part in the iconic sitcom “Seinfeld,” has parted ways with his Los Angeles-area home. Scheinman developed and built the house last year, spending $9.5 million in the process.
Situated in the lower section of Bel-Air, the completely modernized home comes with a total of 6,020 square feet of living space, and includes a number of custom features throughout. The five-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom mansion holds a center-island kitchen, an office, a sunken living room, and sliding walls of glass that open to individual garden atriums.
Other features of the home include a 600-bottle wine cellar, a dedicated media room with custom-built surround sound, 40 glass-carbon ceiling speakers throughout the house, and a total of 14 flat-screen televisions.
Outside, the estate holds a swimming pool complete with a spa, a fire pit, a pizza oven, and stunning views of the city, ocean, and surrounding mountains.
The home was initially listed last year for $11.495 million, with that price dipping to $10.795 million before its eventual sale price. Scheinman purchased the parcel four years ago for $2.93 million.
Scheinman was an Emmy Award-winner for his role as the executive producer of “Seinfeld.” He also served as a producer for film classics “The Princess Bride,” “When Harry Met Sally,” and “A Few Good Men.”
